Hello, everyone! 

I am delighted to introduce myself as Vaijayanthi, a Cambridge Certified Teacher of English. During my time at The Hindu Group, I had the opportunity to teach at schools, universities and corporates. Anjaly and I have worked together on many of those projects! Since then I moved to the UAE and worked as an English teacher/ Deputy Head of the English Department at a British Curriculum school.

Having delivered a few workshops at Common Room over the past year, I have fallen in love with the courses and the way this community works. This led me to decide to join here full-time and contribute to this growing community. The first workshop that I have chosen to deliver since my joining is one of my personal favourites and our most popular course – Young Writers; a 10-hour course, which is designed to modify your approach to creative writing for the better.

The Young Writers workshop aims at guiding you through the key elements of writing stories while providing opportunities to try out different genres of writing.Through interactive games, writing prompts, and sufficient support provided at every stage, you will be able to discover your unique writing style and develop your imagination.
